About

I'm currently a 1st year Phd student in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Duke University, advised by Dr.Matthew Engelhard . It's also my great honor to collaborate with Dr.Ricardo Henao and Dr.Jichun Xie during my study in Duke. My work is focusing on medical AI that can be embedded into real clinical workflows and develop cross-modality foundation models to assist clinical reasoning.

Before Duke, I completed my B.S. in Information Management & Systems at Nankai University, where I received solid training in programming, data systems, and product / UI design, and spent irreplaceable 4 years singing in NKChoir directed by Prof. Meng.

Long term, I aim to develop AI systems that bridge algorithmic intelligence and real clinical practice, enabling pathologists and clinicians to make safer and more efficient decisions.

Counting Clinical Clues ML4H 2025 · Accepted on Oct 10th

Developed a lightweight probabilistic baseline that can match a large language model for clinical text reasoning, at far lower cost and with transparent uncertainty estimates.
